Once again this year, Lucía Díaz Vilariño and Antonio Fernández will will serve on the scientific committee of the XIII Jornadas Iberoamericanas de Innovación Educativa en el ámbito de las TIC y las TAC, to be held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 25 to 27 November 2026.

Italy 2026

In May 2026 I carried out two teaching stays in Italy within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme (KA131 teaching mobility action). The first one took place at the Department of Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II, together with Lucía Díaz Vilariño, while the second one was hosted by the Department of Engineering of the University of Perugia. In both institutions we continued the academic activities and collaborations initiated during previous visits. The visit to the University of Perugia was briefly featured in the following LinkedIn post.

InnoEducaTIC 2025

Lucía Díaz Vilariño and Antonio Fernández have been invited to be part of the scientific committee of the XII Jornadas Iberoamericanas de Innovación Educativa en el ámbito de las TIC y las TAC, held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 19 to 21 November 2025. The conference brought together 45 papers that examine the pedagogical approach to technology in higher education and foster new pathways for educational innovation through information and communication technologies and learning and knowledge technologies.

In early May 2025, Lucía Díaz Vilariño and I taught the workshop 3D Point Cloud Processing with Python at the Department of Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II. This activity took place within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme, under the KA131 teaching mobility action.
